About Kensington

Kensington is the best known districts in Central West London,  famous for its world class museums around Exhibition road as well as its variety of magnificent parks.  The neighbourhood is situated within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, often considered one of the most luxurious places in the city.  Indeed it is home to some of London’s most expensive streets and garden squares such as the Phillimores, the Wycombe Square, the Edwardes Square and Earls Terrace.

Albert Memorial

The Albert Memorial is a grandiose statue of Prince Albert, husband of Queen’s Victoria, located on the Southern tip of the Kensington Gardens, opposite the Royal Albert Hall.  It was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott in a Gothic Revival style and took over ten years to complete.

Hyde Park
